Black Mage

Just finished this for my Brother-in-Law, er... for his blog: this is his avatar. The character is the Black Mage from the Final Fantasy, a video game of yesteryear. The 'light' you see in the background is from a detonation spell of Black Mages that essentially leveled an entire forest, and killed a giant. 'nuff said.

At first I thought it was Orco's cousin, but that's just because I'm not as familiar with Final Fantasy. But then when you said that part of it, I remembered that I've seen this guy on the poster across the hall. Someone over there is a Final Fantasy fan... and now it's all coming together. I love when someone turns on the lights in my head.

Final 9 was my second most favorite after final 7, it had such a nice appeal to it.
Good job translating it!

Thanks for your comment on my blog by the way!

Richard.

You're not fooling anyone. This is an undercover bob-omb.

Isn't Orco's cousin a Bob-omb? Either way... thanks Shane & Adrian for stopping at Ye Olde Blog.

Nina, GhettoFab, Richard! Yoy guys are awesome! Thanks for stopping by. I'll be sure to make the rounds... see what you guys are up to. Love to see what you guys are churning out!

I have a confession to make though Nina and Richard. I'm only familiar with FF because Eric the Leet tells me all about it! Eric's my brother-in-law. Sorry, wish I were cooler! But I'm not. Eric will attest to that! :)
