Walter Matthau

Here's a little something I did for my portfolio while trying to get into the Columbus College of Art & Design in Ohio. I don't generally do portrait work, but this worked out okay.

Ken, are you an alumni of CCAD?
I went there!

Many thanks Mel! I am constantly looking at your site for inspiration.

Nikki, I went to CCAD for several years but transfered before I could get my degree. I'm graduating from BYU this August. And really looking forward to it. It's been a long haul. Out of curiosity, what years were you there? Your characters are way cute, and you have a rare way of expressing yourself with paper. I love it!

A super likeness !! It's good to do something like this once in a while that you wouldn't normally do !!

Why do so many of us stop doing portraits! I need to get started again. You've inspired! Great work, perfect likeness. Oh, and I really dug the frog in the water in your older post. Late.

Ken,
I attended CCAD from 1997 to 2001.
I graduated with a BFA in illustration. As far as I know S. McKissick is still there... I had him for a portfolio class my senior year, tough but well worth the painful critiques.
I am working on a portfolio, should have a project I am doing at work on the blog in the next few days...
