Here's a little something I did for my portfolio while trying to get into the Columbus College of Art & Design in Ohio. I don't generally do portrait work, but this worked out okay.
Many thanks Mel! I am constantly looking at your site for inspiration.
Nikki, I went to CCAD for several years but transfered before I could get my degree. I'm graduating from BYU this August. And really looking forward to it. It's been a long haul. Out of curiosity, what years were you there? Your characters are way cute, and you have a rare way of expressing yourself with paper. I love it!
Why do so many of us stop doing portraits! I need to get started again. You've inspired! Great work, perfect likeness. Oh, and I really dug the frog in the water in your older post. Late.
Ken, I attended CCAD from 1997 to 2001. I graduated with a BFA in illustration. As far as I know S. McKissick is still there... I had him for a portfolio class my senior year, tough but well worth the painful critiques. I am working on a portfolio, should have a project I am doing at work on the blog in the next few days...
Wow! Ken I love Walter Matthau. I knew who he was at a glance. Fantastic. We are missing out not being closer to you all. The boys could learn so much just looking at your pictures. We have so many accompilished and flurishing young talent in this family. love Alisa
